Key Stage 3 Developing Numeracy is a series of photocopiable activity books which provide complete coverage of the key objectives of the Framework for teaching mathematics: Years 7, 8 and 9. There is one book for each strand of the Framework for each year group.

Each activity is divided into three progressive steps to build pupils’ confidence and skills. This also allows for differentiation as the teacher can choose the most appropriate starting point for each group. Additional notes at the foot of each page provide further support and explanation to assist the pupil or classroom assistant, or parent if the activities are used for homework.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Hilary Koll and Steve Mills are well-known mathematics writers, educational consultants and INSET providers. Previously, they have both worked as school mathematics coordinators and as lecturers in maths education. Steve Mills was also a county maths advisory teacher.
